About
I am Professor of Data Management and Analytics at the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece, and a member of the Information Systems and Databases Laboratory (ISDLab). My research covers business analytics, text mining and online consumer behaviour, service quality and operations, and the statistical analysis of clinical cancer research.
I am Senior Statistician of the Hellenic Cooperative Oncology Group (HeCOG), where I have worked as trial statistician on studies in lung, breast, prostate, pancreatic and colorectal cancer. I collaborate with the OECD as an external rapporteur on artificial intelligence, and with Adastra as a data scientist in residence on research and development in analytics, data engineering and applied AI.
Before Corfu I was Assistant and then Associate Professor of Business Analytics at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. Earlier I directed the Big Data Laboratory at Goethe University Frankfurt and was Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen.
